You are thinking right. The reason for (not) failure of Amazon live and failure of meesho live is because of lack of awareness! I had no idea about meesho live up until now. A person opening any Ecom app would open it with the intention of browsing for a certain product and buying it. One would not want to pursue a random product out of nowhere and matter of fact you would have to scroll down some distance to find live on Amazon. A live bidding + new goods sales Exclusively for this very purpose would be the right solution.

There's no dedicated platform for this idea right now in india. Let me know if you are making it , I will like to join 😉

I had seen this in India one YouTube aunty selling jewelry through YT live and I was amazed that how most of people Intrested in buying.

yep, it need more implementation methodology, it definitely works, most of the Chinese influencers does this, but in India it would take time

I have not seen Amazon live and meesho live much tho but I know what worked for naptol and it was there demo and testing of the product.

It depends on the model. Who will do live streaming, who will be seller ? Will it be a marketplace ? How will you compete with meesho/Amazon on pricing ?

Live streaming is very expensive. It's gonna cost millions per month. We don't have our own IT Infrastructure, neither do we have investors to support us for such business models. The expense will be extremely high compared to revenue. And it works well in premium countries. How will you make it work
