Hey everyone, I'm really stressed out and need your support and answers. I work in the marketing domain. So, in 2023 April, I joined a company and since I didn't like it, I quit it by June thinking I'll get a job easily since I was getting a lot of offers in hand when I was actively searching (also, had a lot of family issues including dad's demise and legal issues) But since I left the last org, I haven't gotten any job yet. Neither do I have any freelance experience. I am depressed and anxious all the time. I'm thinking of faking a few projects as a freelancer to cover up the gap year. How do I do it in a very safe way? I have the necessary skills but that's not enough for companies to take a bet on. Please suggest what I can do and how do I fake my experience as a freelancer?

You don't necessarily need to master a full programming language. Focus on learning scripting languages like Bash or Python. They are often used in IT roles and can be easier to pick up for automation and quick tasks.

Look into certifications to bolster your resume. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator could make you stand out and compensate for less programming knowledge.

Since you know basics of CEH and have experience with Kali Linux and Parrot, you might want to explore cybersecurity roles. Many of them focus more on understanding systems and security protocols than pure programming.
