I think it's a good idea to focus more on how your business works rather than spending a lot on a logo, especially if it's just for a short-term project. A fancy logo isn't as important as making sure your business runs well and meets your customers' needs. If your business does well, you can always improve your logo and spend more on marketing later. So, for now, putting your money into making your business functional and successful might be the best choice.
