What if campus placements were discontinued in India? To be honest, there would be a slight decrease in competition for engineering, regardless of whether it's at IITs, NITs, or private colleges. In India, people often pursue engineering for the promise of a stable career, and without campus placements, many might be reluctant to take risks. What do you think?

If campus hiring goes away, the IITs and NITs may actually become more prestigious and competitive since they'd be judged purely on academics rather than placements. Could raise the quality of education.

RIP to all the private engineering colleges that literally advertise themselves based on their placement stats. Their entire business model would be destroyed without campus recruitments. 🤣🤣

Honestly bro, i can see both sides of this. On one hand, it might deter some students from just pursuing engineering for the sake of a cushy job via campus placement. But it could also lead to a brain drain if the best talent doesn't see a clear path to good opportunities.
