His ventures included Usha Kiran Movies, Mayuri Film Distributors and Dolphin Group of Hotels. He also led the ETV Network of television channels. The iconic Ramoji Film City, the world's largest film studio complex, stands as a testament to his visionary thinking. Spanning over 2,000 acres, it has become a hub of cinematic excellence. In 2016, Ramoji Rao was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award, recognizing his monumental contributions to media and business.
