"Hey everyone, I could really use some advice right now. Back in 2020, I completed my 12th standard and had my heart set on pursuing a Bachelor's in Microbiology. Unfortunately, due to some medical issues, I had to drop the course in my final year in 2023. Now, I'm considering pursuing B.Tech in Biotechnology, which would mean investing another 4 years. I'm torn between two options: either migrating to B.Sc. Microbiology in the second year or starting fresh with B.Tech from the beginning. I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights on which path might be the best for me considering my past experiences and future goals. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!"

4 more years of being a broke student? Hard pass. Just get an entry-level job and start earning already. Degrees are overrated these days anyway

Honestly, I think you should go for the B.Tech in Biotechnology. Sure, it's another 4 years, but having that engineering degree will open up so many more doors for you in the long run, especially if you're interested in research or the technical side of things.
