May was an excellent experimental month for us at Medial! We switched off nearly all marketing, zeroed down our focus on development for the future and wanted to see how cold can the platform go. We basically wanted a reality check. The assumption was that the app should be fairly active because we had seen our retention flatlining at a certain %. And that's exactly what happened. Medial didn't slow down, infact we had a fantastic month! Some stats- - Number of posts Created on Medial- 6000+ (That's 200+ daily!) - Number of comments- 30,000! - Number of messages exchanged on Medial- 30,000! - Total likes- 17,000! - Total Shares outside Medial - 6,000! (Excludes screenshots). - Total Bookmarks on Medial- 8,000! - Number of people with more than 100 followers- 25! - Number of people with more than 200 followers- 15! Those were some of the top metrics. Our team is more than motivated with the results of May where we thought things might be tricky. It was a bold experiment but now our conviction is on the moon! Medial has finished hiring some of the major roles we needed and with reinforcements the future features will only get better and better. Thanks to our lovely users who keep us alive and active!
