You will be shocked to know what this little tiny country which is approx 2x smaller than Delhi has done to reduce garbage -Yes indeed i am talking about Singapore. So Singapore cleans 6 million tonnes of garbage everyday, they first sends this garbage in incineration plan where this garbage is burnt 24/7 at 1000°C and the heat energy thus obtained by burning this garbage is used for producing and supplying electricity in thousands of houses. Some amout of garbage is recycled and the remaining is used in construction of roads and bricks and the most useless waste which remains is then dumped in a man made lake which is actually an island and this lake is not connected with any river or ocean and the harmful gas which is produced by burning this garbage is first filtered properly and then released in the atmosphere. Thank You.
