Part 2 To promote his website obviously, he can't run ads or market it, so what he did was to go on some other websites and write posts over there promoting his website. Soon, the website gained people's attention and Silk road has several user in a single year! Even the gov got know about it and they got to work to find out the creator. Wondering how he made money? Well he used to charge a commission on each trade that was conducted. He got money in the form of bitcoins! Wondering why he didn't get caught by the gov? He used a browser Tor, which hides the IP address of the users. He became a millionaire by the end of the first year! He realised that he needed a team now, so he recruited the active users of Silk Road and made up his team.
