Expenses have increased, taxes have increased while the average household income hasn’t seen a much of a change. Plus the easy payment options like Buy now pay later, EMI, UPI credit card has screwed the middle class & upper middle class. So yea a middle class family won’t hesitate to spread their legs out of their blanket even further thinking that they can pay the funds later thus falling into a trap
