I'm actually not surprised at all that Elon wasn't the original founder of Tesla. The guy has a habit of inserting himself into narratives and rewriting history to put himself front and center. Props to Eberhard and Tarpenning for getting it started.

Yeah but he is the one who took tesla to the top.Tesla doesn’t spend much on marketing it was only Elon’s face which makes tesla’s sales
