I am wondering how this medial app was able to retain users in the initial stages. Right now, this app has more than ten thousand users, if I am correct. But in the beginning, when there was no user base, how did they retain the first 5-20 users? Is it bots? Those who know, please enlighten me.

Yeah but not much active users. For a community for startups and buisnesses not much going on here. Maybe it's time to add views cause you don't know which post is doing better or worse

Obviously capitalised their own networks, the founder of this company had previously sold a startup of his, with that credibility, he might have reached out to his former colleagues, friends, networks, same with the other founders, possibly. Use common sense, if 4 founders call 5 friends each that’s first 20 users right there.
