The harsh truth is that raising funds is hard. It has become a fashion to make fun of founders who raise money but to be honest they are really skilled. Obviously there will be bad fishes in a pond but if it was so easy everyone would end up raising
𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁
Because saving means it helped them, not just that they agreed with it
𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
“That’s true” vs. “I need this later”
By studying the work of others, you can refine your craft
And find inspiration for your unique voice.
Ideas don’t come from the sky.
This was the line that constantly bombarded my ears.
