I'm a pure brahmin. I'm much more aware of classics more than you. Bhagwad geeta I myself praise alot. But if you really were the classic enthusiast you would know the value of what it says. If you're unable to apply it just shut your mouth. Read books that are knowledge. Blaming modern books doesn't makes any point. Every book has it's own genre read as per your interest.
