It is indeed really puzzling

Fucked up times honestly: freshers can’t even be sure whether their applications are even REACHING TO THE RECRUITER or not!

For me, it highlights the importance of keeping your skills sharp and resume updated. No job is 100% safe when companies shift priorities so quickly.

I think the layoffs expose how much bloat and overhiring happened during the pandemic bull run. Companies got drunk on easy money and are now being forced to sober up.

It's a bizarre situation for sure. Massive layoffs at big tech companies, while other firms continue hiring aggressively. The job market is all over the place.
