I had this genuine fear, However I don't think they can play this game long. In recent times every brand is having a social media page and a website irrespective of their main source of operation. At the end of the we are promoting these store by mentioning it in our apps and we are redirecting our customers. We can redirect customers to other platforms/ stores which includes our own website. And about the Google warning, there'isnt much to do instead showing a customer a message at the time of downloading the app that we have started to grow out the bid company shadows and we need your support. Something like that. This will definitely effect bussiness but at the same time serious unwelcoming gestures from many big businesses has to be made to show that gaints are gaints because of these big/small/ micro businesses.

I'd actually be really freaked out. But this actually needs to be solved by someone like Indus AppStore. Or else in their tough times, they might unwillingly come up with such guidelines, that as an entrepreneur, your company might get in line.

We will explore the country rather than relying on apps

It's interesting that phone manufacturers are adding their own app stores to break the duopoly. I wonder if this will become a trend and lead to more competition in the market. Especially like Indus.

This is ridiculous.. I can't believe Playstore/Appstore has such strict rules for changing countries. It's like they're trying to make it as difficult as possible for users to access apps from other regions.

The solution is in policy-making; our government should be sharp and agile enough to point out such things and smash the monopolistic nature of big tech companies. building our own app store or OS is not sustainable until and unless we close our doors to world tech companies, which I don't believe would be productive and aligned with our democratic principles.
