Start building your network and making connections from year 1, not just when you're a senior rushing to get internships/jobs. Don't overload your schedule just to graduate quicker. I burned myself out taking way too many credits per semester.

YK, what I did, interacted a lot with my profs. Make an effort to get to know your professors, go to office hours, etc. They can be incredible mentors, help you in your career path, and give you slack when you need it most.
