Can i start a Startup based on community building alone, what i undertake will solely be focused on building communities and community based marketing. For example a college dance team based community will have access to various events but will also will a go to place for advertising for related businesses.

I get the concept, but I think the challenge will be finding a scalable way to attract those niche communities to your platform in the first place. If you're manually building out each one from scratch, it seems inefficient. There'd need to be incentives and virality.

I think it is a good idea, colleges can also invite students from outside with their ID's and can charge through your app and you can also earn from it. But colleges usually don't allow people from outside to enter their campuses.
