Why do our Indian software developers fail to create Chromium-based web browsers or develop a separate privacy-centric search engine? Just look at search engines and browsers like DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Qwant, Baidu, Yandex, Firefox, and many others.

Perplexity is experimenting with ads to monetize its AI-powered search engine. Ads will appear as sponsored follow-up questions, rather than within the answer itself.
Feels like a nicer, less invasive approach to ads.
