In category creation burn is OK for acquiring customers, marketing, etc. But in other well established categories why businesses are burning?

Why people are buying mg comet?it's too small,range is not good,even built quality is ok k,but why it's sales are high?even it is priced in b/w 7 to 10 lakhs?is it another overhyped product because of marketing?
