WTF is An Accelerator โ๏ธ๐ค Accelerator program is a Cohort based , fixed termed and mentorship driven program which is done occasionally for early staged startups. Let's understand it simply, think a bootcamp of start-ups where they connect with each other, mentors , attends seminars , and often try to get funding from investors. S KOo how does it work ? Firstly, startups apply for the program and are selected based on certain criteria of the program, they go through the fixed term of program which iw general of around 4 months. In this program, they get access to technology, office workspace and network with other experienced people of the industry. At the end of the program startups pitch Their progress and often raise funding via program. One of the biggest Is Y-Combinator. Zepto Founders Also were in the program of YC and got funding from them. ๐
