It surely does, getting a make in india certificate will provide you with various government incentives and subsidies such as Tax Benefits, NIDHI Initiative, Atal Innovation Mission, R&S Subsidies, 50% money-back in professional fees involved in filing Patents and Trademarks, and many more. Getting such certification is not mandatory but is surely benefitting in some cases.
