The story of USS william D. porter (Willi Dee) - "The most unlucky ship of American Naval history with an untouchable crew." Operated by a crew of unexperienced sailors under the command of “Lieutenant Commander Wilfred A. Walter” their very first mission included escorting USS Iowa which was a top secret mission. On the very first day Willi Dee accidentally dropped a depth charge in the ocean which was accompanied by launching a torpedo at USS Iowa which was escorting the then current president of USA “Franklin D. Roosevelt” on the third day. Then was sent to Alaska for some training and during the new year’s part the drunk crew fired a 5 inch round as firework which eventually landed in the yard of the commander of the base who was doing house party with other high ranking officials. Then it was sent to the battle of Okinawa where it was sunked by the Kamikaze plane which crased in water and Willi steped on it but however the whole crew was evacuated safely without any casualty.
