I think the top 1st post is displayed again and again for a particular time like 10 min or 30 mins Rotation : if you refresh the page certain times you will be seeing the same posts on your trending page. Engagement Metrics: Likes, replies, and saves likely play a role in boosting a post's visibility. The more engagement a post gets, the more likely it is to be shown to others.
