I totally agree. It has helped you to connect a lot of people and also grown so many businesses, but trust me it has made an addicted app through entertainments. This is really a disaster me myself scroll a whole day ( probably more than 10 hours)

Yess though u can change your algo if u make a new acc and keep pressing not interested on the content you don't wanna cosume but the thing is the content creator itself are making such reels coz they know this engages most of the audience.

That's why I don't use Instagram much anymore. Not because of sad or cringe content, but mostly because whenever I use Insta, I end up wasting a lot of time

Yes , as sadness and depressed people have disruptive decision capability . It's perfect for social media business . People try to find themselves in social media influencers and posts

It is up to you, it will show you what you watch, like and share, simple. If you want positive content start consuming it by searching it following it and liking it the algo will go there in no time

Bro, it's because you don't use Not interested option. So you get depressing post , Make your aim clear , use social media to have fun. Not to indulge in Sadness.
