I've almost completed half of my web development journey and now I'm wondering that will it get me a source of income??I'm a 1st year college student and I need guidance to pursue a career apart from college coz studing for grades isn't my thing?? Do anyone feel the same??

You are thinking in the right way. Studying for grades is not worth but the college and placements system is such a way that if you don't have the required grade marks you are not eligible for the placements. If you don't want to depend on college for the placements then continue learning web development. As of now, web development has.a great future. With that one skill you can start a side hustle and you can earn more than what others are earning with they full time job. And remember one thing, learning never goes wasted. Don't worry if you are not getting oppurtunities, try and try untill you make the skill the identity of you.
