For dropshipping transport would be a very big issue and there are low margin items and the sector is not perfectly organised and there are big vendors for Amazon and Flipkart .

Because India doesn’t have enough disposable income. That is also one of the reason why Meesho works so well. Some dropshippers definitely have made their fortune in India too. Exceptional cases.
