Can someone explain what is Seed Funding and Series A Funding? Is it just like 1st time and 2nd time Funding?

Seed Funding comes after Pre-Seed Funding. Pre-Seed is when the value of the company cannot be determined and is usually the money one raises from their family and friends. Seed Funding is the first formal round where usually the product is built. Series A is where big investors come in and is usually raised for growth and expansion of the company
