This might be hard but what we can build instead is a default set for you to choose whether you want to be anon by default or non-anon by default. Will see what we can do, Manas.

you can add a toast kind of thing when user clicks the reply text field. I think one way to do it can be adding a purple bar ( purple as in the icons ) located just above the reply with a black text which remains for some seconds and has " You are replying as (username) " or "You are replying as Anonymous" written on it -- I think you can use different background color for the bar depending on which mode they are in.

Hi Niket! Yup maybe that could also work.. or maybe make the profile change button more prominent so a user knows what they are commenting as..you'll have to do a little bit of user research on this.. or play around with A/B testing of both scenarios
