Hello all, so I am working in a startup. I am one of the early members, my co-founders are really amazing people and I love working with them. I see a lot of potential in the startup as well. My question is, should I work overtime to add more value to the team? I know I will get some ESOPs(I value them) if I do so but I also have other passions in my life. So what you guys would suggest?

Hey buddy, if you are getting some salary then you should work overtime plus there will be ESOP for sure, so it will be a win win thing. Also, people work in startup to explore the full potential of themselves. I think you understand what im trying to say. Also, I would also like to know more about your startup as I'm kinda interested in joining a techie team.

It's matter of priority of work and your presence, give more time where your presence is needed more. You can use time management here if you are working 8hrs a day then divide ur time by 3+5 work 5hrs where ur need is more and 3hrs where ur need is less adjust your 1hr more time based on ur priority.

If you are bellow 35 then you should give your best to the company and learn as much you can but if you crossed 40 then you should give time to company and your personal life as well you can .
