Startup story 5/10 This Indian audio platform is taking over the US market . In FY-24 they will make over a $100 million just from us consumers. Started by three engineers in 2018, Pocket FM is an audio entertainment platform, think of it as Netflix but only audio. They started by offering short stories for the Indian audience and later discovered a segment that was untapped until then. Audio series, think of it as a tv show but only audio . People loved it so much that an average user was spending 115 minutes listening to it everyday. After getting success in India they moved in US . And after only a year after the launch, they have reached an annual rate of 100 million dollars. *Follow me if you think this is Innovative*
