Hey I am on Medial • 1y

So I'm new at coding (just been a month) and I tried to look at GitHub , I've seen some projects and the files within them I'm having trouble locating files like what is what and which is doing what and some files have common names across other projects too like .GitHub , readme , ect Is there a easier way to understand which files does what or do I need to look at every single one of them to understand the project ?
