Bro I think any social media app or services which Target niche markets will fail because, TAM might be high, but actual number of people who use it will be very less. Also, you can't monetize your platform easily only with ads, it'll be very hectic if you don't have any monetization plans other than ads. Also, remeber almost every big social media company became big because they never targetted a specific category/ specific markets.
