Tech Update (Day: 1) Meta is putting AI chatbots everywhere!😱 👉Meta has officially entered the AI chatbot wars with its own assistant and a slew of AI characters that will be released in WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger. 👉Meta AI, as the assistant is called, is designed to be a general-purpose assistant for various tasks, from planning trips with friends in group chats to answering questions that would normally be asked of a search engine. 👉The assistant is trained on a custom model based on the powerful Llama 2 large language model and will have access to real-time information via a partnership with Microsoft's Bing search engine. 👉In addition to Meta AI, Meta is also launching 28 other AI characters, each with a unique personality, mannerisms, and backstory. 👉The introduction of Meta AI and its characters marks Meta's entry into the AI chatbot market, which has already seen competitors like OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude.
