Simple solution is encouraging meeting people irl and avoiding social media as it's root cause.

Social media originated for solving loneliness but now it is one of the major cause of loneliness, it can not be solved by a other person but by self help and initiative

Alone and loneliness are 2 different things but they're often misunderstood as the same Even you have a huge number of people around you but can still feel lonely. So it's related to the perspective of the person. So yeah if you're perspective isn't bring you happiness and making you depressed It's definitely an issue which needs to be solved. I think there's no need of a seprate startup regarding this as there are already THERAPISTS around us.

In my humble opinion you can not solve loneliness with some app or something like that it's a lot more personal issue you need proper human interaction the real one not just a fake persona. Now do I believe that there is some big money to be made? Yes, absolutely but they will only make money not solve any issue. Because if you solve the issue who will you now make the money from?

For sure more sports evens like IPL will be organised and this sector seem promising

Yes it’s a big issue even there are many foreign apps which focus on solving this problem by letting people talk anonymously , but not many Indian solutions are available

One big player in the space has been Astrotalk. The founder had mentioned that people connect with astrologers just so that they can talk to someone, not because they have any specific astro query. Mind boggling. So many apps, but ppl still feeling lonely.

Have noticed some startups in India too have raised funds for the same cause.
