Bro social media is used by people only because it is free of cost. The day it asks for money it will loose most of it's subscribers.

1. Asking money will kill its DAU. Remember its a social media platform, more members, better it is. In country like India, no one will pay Rs 99. Just look at how companies like Spotify, Netflix are struggling. Instead I will say that Instagram can hse the Youtube model.. take Rs 99 for an ad-free service. Though, instagram does not have anything else to offer other than being ad-free.
