You could create a platform where people can list their items and can schedule order pick up time simultaneously. This would reduce the waiting time. Later if it goes well, you can include delivery of items.

It won't be profitable for sure as operational cost will be high and only sustainable if it is done on larger scale and sold to mass population which is another hectic business I feel
