Well... the industry is never a exponential graph... ita a sign wave... There was a tech huddle in 2021 which boosted tech jobs and salaries..... we are seeing a course correction for that.... The market will pick again....In the next ten years, the market will go down again and again pick. AI will never replace engineers. It can only assist and improve productivity. Invest wisely during the green days to sail through the drought.

This is exactly what factory workers we told back in those days, that machines will never replace them. Looking at the scale at which AI grows it's evident that AI will replace a very high percentage of engineers. These left out engineers will have to upskill into other domains to get a job.
