Does having a degree will get you a job nowadays ? what do you think about the education system of india ?

So my question is currently I am pursuing ai ml degree (btech) and I am afraid that ai will take over my job . So should I change my track or ai can't takeover aiml engineer's skill?? Is Ai causing unemployment or causing development 🤔??
