Amazon lost 2.7 billion in 2022. Not in the beginning of its career. Fb was loss making for 5 years because it hadn't introduced any revenue model in the beginning. And today's startups are making loss in the beginning. And making losses even tough

Was speaking to a friend who does performance marketing for apparel brands. Not big ones but D2C folks who have ad spends of ~5 Lakhs per month. Most D2C folks I know, lose money. But according to him, not in apparels. Everyone makes money in it.
