It is very rare for startups to go hand in hand with growth and profit specially if your product is disrupting the market (i.e creating new category, eg. Zomato, Paytm etc.). Facebook was pre-revenue for first 3 years and non profitable for 5 years.

True but I don't think so their companies are that much revolutionizing and one thing is that actually most of the sharks failed multiple times to evaluate the businesses.

No one can always make all the right decisions specially based on the limited data provided by companies coming on shark tank. VC rounds take months to finalise a deal. Zomato, OYO, Emcure, Lenskart, Cardekho they all are revolutionizing companies
