The startup quickly gained traction, thanks to its user-friendly app and speedy delivery services. But despite its early success, Dazo faced hurdles along the way. Operational challenges, soaring customer acquisition costs, and fierce competition from industry giants like Swiggy and Zomato put immense pressure on the startup. Despite efforts to pivot and refine its strategies, Dazo struggled to stay afloat. In 2016, the inevitable happened: the startup announced its closure. The decision was a tough pill to swallow, but mounting challenges made it increasingly difficult to keep the business running. Following Dazo's closure, the founders and team members moved on to new ventures, while others found opportunities elsewhere in the startup world. Though Dazo's journey came to an end, its story serves as a reminder of the highs and lows of entrepreneurship in the ever-evolving landscape of food delivery startups.
