I'd say, don't stick with one particular platform. Be versatile & try to use whatever platform that seems productive & fruitful. Ahh, also don't forget about discord. Although we don't have encryption in it, client fetching could be pretty much easier.

All these platforms are so much saturated with so many people and gigs. Personal selling always works. I never tried freelancing I am just advising you based on my observations.

The best way for freelancing is finding clients through your network. These platforms take too much time to establish yourself.

I think fiverr as they have more visibility, sort of, as far as I’m concerned about UpWork its shit. If you’re a beginner. Forget about getting anything from upwork lol

I’ll start with mine. Fiver was well-suited for me. Yes, was well-suited. After they changed their level system, it’s no more. The traction on my profile has been reduced drastically. But, I just made my while career for almost 2 years only in fiverr. Thats how it helped me..!
