Not so true. When do they become rich? When they send their savings back to India to set up a business or use it as an investment. This is what most of the NRIs do for which they are called" rich" and this is really traumatic for people in their home countries striving very hard to earn.

Great insight I too have seen a great decline in USA trend. And when you compare small expenses like internet, grocery and huge expenses like medical , buying home then you got to know the reality

I think this trend has now changed a bit with changing things in India as well, the IT culture is also having a big boom here also and it will grow more in coming years.

One of my friends will shift to the United States in 2020, but right now, in 2024, I'll have 1000 times more money in my bank account than him. He visits India twice a year, and every time before going back to the USA, his whole family goes to the barbershop to get their hair trimmed because they cannot afford it in the United States. It's strange, but it's true. Another point I'd like to make is that most Indians nowadays want to stay in India rather than move overseas.

True. Multiple NRIs are now returning to India because at least tech salaries are now getting way better in India

What most people don't get is they are calculating their income after converting it in indian rupee 😂 , the most dumbest thing . They don't know the term known as PURCHASE POWER PARITY 😂

Moving abroad is literally over now. They will definitely return here after 5 to 10 years and I don't think going abroad is even relevant after 5 years. People dreaming it's a heaven and moving there that all their problems would vanish. Some people hyping their jobs in social media is the prime reason here.
