Incognito is one of the greatest features of consumer internet, but the same feature costs google billions of dollars In the early 2000s, concerns about online privacy were growing. Users were worried about websites and other entities tracking their browsing history and using it for targeted advertising or other purposes. By offering incognito mode, Google provided an option for users who wanted more control over their online privacy. But it also hurt Google's opportunity to monetise more as in incognito mode google can't collect browsing history, cookies, and site data Even after losing out billions of dollars because of incognito, I think it's a great way to build a reputation
