I cannot spend much in marketing right now. I'm doing content marketing and lead generator to drive traffic to my website. With the launch of my signature product, I want to reach a wide audience. I've thought of cold-emailing influencers and content creators of that field to promote my product in exchange of a +50% affiliate commission. Been second-guessing this idea for a while. Need your thoughts on this. And also suggest how much should I put as the affiliate commission rate. My business goal right now is to build a customer base, profits come second.

See, if your ticket size Is lesser, the commission should be comparatively more than if there is a huge ticket size, for example an Edtech course, worth 60k The commission should be something around 4-5% 10, at max. And vice versa, so like if you’re products ticket size is in 100s or at max 1000 then 50% makes sense.

5, 10, 50% depending on what the product is, how valuable the usp is and what kind of impact it can create.
