The most important one is handling finace we thing if we give free product we get free customer it's not the case . Copy pasting usa or Europe business india is 1.2 billion people it is equal to 5 usa and 7 Europe people every place varies each other,for every 100kms the food changes and you using same model for all India even see big brands they change in each place in supply and pricing. In business you need patience and commentient which takes year to make and we want results immediately. Leaving business early without any improvement.

I think there could be so many things which can go wrong for a startup to fail. For a start up to succeed there should a 1000 things falling in place at the right time but just one of those 1000 reasons is sufficient for a startup to fail. But having said that one of the biggest reasons for failures is not getting the product market fit.

The reason for my Startup failure was I and my cofounder had conflict and I trusted him blindly regarding financial so i have lost my family money which we invested initially to hire interns and some management professional I was too focused on my academics at that time and I could maintain the balance. The product never launched and all money went waste

Good product, wrong market.

Good team, if the team is good you can modify the product as per the market conditions, which can lead to success of the company.

One of the main factor is scaling

I think if you give your hundred percent in any work there's zero percent chances to loose.

One is bad comunication between team and the second is rapid expansion rather than complete focus on current market situation

Not having a good product

I think hiring the wrong people/co-founders is a reason less talked about but often contributes to the failure of many startups.

Most founders go after a wrong idea. Usually that problem doesn't even exists. Hence no business.

Founders getting greedy after a few rounds..

Mismanagement of funds

Main reason :- Agree with you, TAM & the solution is not feasible somehow . Multiple Reasons are :- Problem is not even a problem Not Setting with Product Market Fit Management Not Determined Enough.

I think there is no standardization in the reason for failure, the reason can be different for individual startup, maybe funding and improper finance management, couldn't gtm properly. Low customer satisfaction and poor customer service. But one thing that's certain for failure is they haven't made money from the business.

Do you know Facebook in 2015 or Instagram in 2019 yes it hard in starting but we try we can get a customer base eventually.

1) Overestimate or the market. 2) Indian consumer are Hard to monetize 3) going in the game of higher valuation 4 ) Lack in leadership and internal conflict . But yah Indian is becoming liberal in spending. So there is lot of upcoming opportunity to monetize.

At my point of view, because of customer acquisition. I also want to share that customer will not buy newly launched products immediately, until they see advertisement.

In my opinion, many startups are failing because the founders lack knowledge on how to raise capital from investors, and even those who do raise capital often lack expertise on how to execute it.
