Is there any way to build a certification system that can measure persons knowledge in certain field, for example programming, instead of going to a traditional college, what we can do is learn in home and just give test, if you pass then great if fail then try again next time... "We cheat in our exams" then companies expect us to build something from that knowledge with no practical skills whatsoever. Idea is to replace collage.. I know this post is flawed but just try to understand the "hang of it"

Nah, this is what degrees and education are for. You'll need a lot of credibility to certify someone for anything.

No age bar, No minimum attendance just to advance into next stage. questions so tough that you cant cheat (in a way), practically we use calculator in our daily life so then let them use it. Questions based on hands on knowledge. We can use apple vision pro (I am aiming too high but its revolutionary), for all sorts of things. More points...

A pretty revolutionary idea. More applicable in today’s world. This is the era of speacialization. I learnt a heck lot about it from joe rogan and naval ravikants podcast, but yeah, completely resonate with it.
