I've a really good idea of starting an amazing blogging platform, where people could come write blogs, there are several apps like substack and and medium but they seem qujte boring, I want to improve the user experience according to the fast moving generation! And I have many mlre features planned out. Is this a good idea and gateway to startup?

Until you have great defensibility in your idea, even if your platform works, other big players will easily copy you and make you irrelevant. I'd suggest research more.

Both are quite good for me, but if you are building work on very good UI and UX. I personally don't like the UI of medium. Best of luck

Why do Reddit, Quora, Substack, Clubhouse, Medium and many more such apps list themselves in the News Category? Is it because it’s a relatively easier category to be on top or a category that has more impressions?
