Does anyone know what happened to the app/company BeReal, they were targeting themselves as the alternative for Instagram and was very hyped by the people that it would replace Instagram

App is great. I sometimes use it. But then if I want to stay away from social media I would simply not use any app. If I do want to use social media I would use Instagram. They are kind of stuck in between
